Qualifications & Certifications Get To Know Me
"It's not the same experience or knowledge that makes us stand out, it's our decades of different experience and higher knowledge that does" - unknown
Knowledge and experience is something you should never compromise on, it can't be purchased and it simply cannot be achieved by taking an online course and passing a test. It's something that is earned over time. Though it's impossible to be an expert in everything however when choosing a home inspector, look for an inspector who is well rounded, knowledgeable, and experienced.
The good news is working with Orgova Home Inspections, you don't have to compromise at all! You will be comforted to know that I have the knowledge, the experience, and have worked in the electrical field for over 30 years with 25 of those years in the field of construction.
Every system and structure are equally important, but the electrical system of a home can be both complicated and downright hazardous. This is one of the areas when working with Orgova Home Inspections, it can make a world of difference. Don't settle when it comes to finding the right inspector who has both extensive knowledge and solid experience especially in the electrical field. There is a real difference between being certified in an electrical course vs having 30 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
In addition to my Electrical Engineering Degree, I am also an InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector & Graduate, a member of InterNACHI in good standing, a Certified Professional Home Inspector (CPI), and a Florida Licensed Home Inspector. I bring all of my expertise together to provide our clients with the most comprehensive inspection possible.
Below, is a listing of all of the certifications I have achieved.
Proud Supporter of Autism Inclusion Employment
My name is Gregg Karas, your inspector. I live in Central Florida and have 30 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer and 25 years of construction experience. Due to my unique blend of knowledge and experience, clients and agents alike have sought out my services. I am a proud husband and father to two Disney fanatic teens. When I'm not doing inspections, you will probably find me playing in the parks with my family or relaxing poolside in my yard. My family moved to Central Florida to support our son Jake, as he is Autistic, has special needs, and requires the support of his family to navigate his way through college. Our daughter Kierra has been a figure and speed-skating special Olympics coach and volunteer for the past 7 years. When you call the office, you will most likely speak to my wife, Nancy, who is the brains of the entire business :)
As a family we try to encourage, inspire, and volunteer in our community - especially with special needs organizations. It would be my honor to be your advocate in the home purchasing process!
